So when and where would you and Meade like to get together with your Washington-area fans and fans based in Virginia & Maryland? That evening? The night before? Someplace in Georgetown?

Yay, you're going to my old alma mater!

I love DC. I was watching something I recorded off the history channel last night, and they had the tail end of that nuclear bomb in DC story. Freaky.

Can't do a meetup. There are evenings planned before and after the conference, and then I'm flying home.

Can Meade do a meet up instead?

I take it a smackdown of certain Administration and Congressional figures is not on the agenda.

"Can Meade do a meet up instead?"

That's what's called a Meade-up.

Ah.

Plenty of Meade jokes still remain.

Such as "until we Meade again" and so on.

Don't go overboard and do a Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. Or do go overboard and do a Mr. Smith. Maybe that's what we need, a heartfelt demonstration of populist outrage in the well of the senate by a law professor. Might be just the ticket to energize our academic elites and assorted chattering class types to finally get on board the 9/12 train. You go girl. Oops, did I just say somethin' racisss? Well, if I did, f**k it.

Always the commenter, never the actual book author.

Dang!

No meet up? The hopes of a loyal DC reader so quickly dashed. At least you get to spend time with the wonderfully nerdy Dan Ernst, a favorite GULC professor of mine.

WV: comen ...and a leaving too..
