Whenever Christiane Amanpour says the United States it sounds like an accusation.. a charge.. no matter what the context.

Its weird.. and its possibly the reason I cant stand her.

Some of these are funnier than others, but in honor of Christiane:

Funny stuff. Nothing to see here, move along. And why does Oklahoma adding a No Sharia Law constitutional provision so upset the Muslims who are planning where they want to retire to?

I thought that was George Harrison for a moment.

Yeah, that high speed rail isn't for the likes of us. It's more a Shelbyville kinda thing.

WATERTOWN, Wis - Mayor Ron Krueger is one of the few Republicans in Wisconsin who support a proposed high-speed train line from Milwaukee to Madison. According to Krueger, the project would be an economic boost for his community.

"We would look foolish in the eyes of the nation if we turned down over 800 million for a public works project that is going on in other states," Krueger said.

According to Krueger, Watertown would develop a train station along the Rock River at an abandoned building if the project goes through. He maintains there is already interest to develop meeting space, retail stores, and condominiums near the station to serve commuters. "I think there would be some mixed retail/residential along the river," he said in describing the project.

link-rage.

I thought it was Tim Curry as the Sweet Transvestite from Rocky Horror.
