One year ago today at the Wisconsin protests: 100 protesters stormed the Capitol.

Meade shot video of them in the rotunda as they discussed whether, if they received an order to leave, they should stay or go.

And, check it out, I criticized Rush Limbaugh. For what? For saying the Wisconsin protesters were "littering the sidewalks and the streets" with "used Kotex." I said: "I've lived in Madison, Wisconsin for 25 years — and I've gone over to the protests nearly every day — and I've never seen a used Kotex anywhere. I put up a post showing trash on one of the first days of protest, but ever since then, I've been impressed that they are picking up trash."

And here's edited video where Meade and I talk about whether the young protesters will " be really embarrassed some day to look back and realize that they had joined in on something that was really a mistake and they chose the wrong side and that they joined it with such fervor."

Pigs is pigs, as they used to say.

And Ann's critique of El Rushbo should quiet some of the more tiresome trolls.

But it won't. Children so love the sound of their own voices.

People are showing intense loyalty toward Rush (even though he himself changed positions).

I don't think Rush wants such uncritical listeners. He tries to teach critical thinking, and he should find it disturbing that people lapped up his worst tirade the way they did.

Limbaugh is a lot like Socrates. He is this guy constantly jabbing and questioning the elites, and the elites hate him. He drives the elites bat shit crazy just by pointing out their silliness.'

You think you would have liked Socrates when he was going around doing his thing, Peano? You would have hated the guy. You would have been carping like you are now.

Of course, Socrates sure as fuck wasn't right about everything, just as Limbaugh sure as fuck isn't right about everything.

Also, for my money, we had a much better modern-day Socrates. But he died last week, unfortunately.

What were they protesting again?

Oh. Yeah. hey weren't getting their free stuff anymore.

Meanwhile in Oakland OWS a woman was robbed by three OWS members/occupiers/protesters, whatev.
They are charged with two felonies, robbery and hate crime.

I guess a minority neighborhood resident 1 per center wasn't getting them their free stuff fast enough.

Judging by many Boomers lack of self-awareness and shame at the damage that they have done to our society, I would say: no.
