“A lot of people ask ‘What’s in the water in Wisconsin?’”

“But a better question is, ‘What’s in the beer?’”

Reince Priebus, at the GOP Convention.

Today's theme at the GOP convention is "We Can Do Better," which seems particularly apt for the party that selected Mittens.

"Mittens" is such a biting nickname. Almost as good as "Jug Ears."

"biting"

hmm, cheney was called Darth, Willard is called mittens.

Indeed as Romney gives everyone the warm fuzzy feeling! :-P

Except Chris Matthews, who is still tingling over Barry . . .

Tweety doesn't like silver spoon, phoney as the day is long, mittens ~ go figure!

Mittens. Skiing with deaf people is strange somewhat isolating experience. There's a lot of not talking. Most talking happens on the lift, and that's not much. Best to have big heavy clumsy ass mittens that you can slip your into and out of rapidly that hold in warmth. Gloves are worse.

slip your hands, of course.

Shiloh,

Sorry your avatar photo with "Yes We Can" died this weekend.

That is Armstrong, right?

One Giant Leap should be Obama's theme.

Scott Walker doesn't seem to be the apple of the GOP's eye any longer, evidenced by the fourth string warm up speaking slot at the convention. Huh.

Notice the little animal and diamond don't want to talk about anything substantive, like how not only WI, but now MI, and maybe even IL, are in play; how the Romster is now even up with Choom in OH and up 7 in MO; or, especially, running dead even nationally in the WaPo/ABC poll.

No, let's talk about slogans and nicknames, anything but the Stuttering Cluster Fuck Of A Miserable Failure (my apologies to the ladies) the Demos are running.

A highly effective governor isn't always a compelling speaker. Pawlenty is highly regarded and is a bit of a boring speaker. Ditto Daniels.

Walker is a political genius but not a master speaker. That's preferrable to the alternative.

Must be those pending indictments against Governor Walker you've been promising.

Where's our update?

Chris Matthews called Reince Priebus "garbage" today on Morning Joe. They were having a heated argument about the racism of the Repubs and Priebus said, "That's garbage." Matthews shot back, "You're garbage." I watched it and I heard it. Mediaite is now saying that Matthews actually said, "It's your garbage." I don't know. In any case, someone as biased and un-hinged as Matthews shouldn't be moderating the convention, but he is.

edutcher's continuing childish fetish re: everything I post is duly noted.

Indeed as his "shiloh" fetish may soon overtake his Althouse fetish lol.

ok, ok, ((( the blonde ))) has no need to be alarmed ;) as edutcher will cherish her until his dying days ... and beyond!

>

Since AA's #1 pet is totally fixated on meaningless polls:

Rasmussen General Election

Obama 47 / mittens 44

>

And again, it's worth mentioning wartime incumbent, Bush43, defeated Kerry fairly easily when Bush had a 48% Gallup job approval!

As always, stay tuned and apologies for edutcher's ad nauseam, kindergarten fetish. :D
