Manski with a Planski.

Not knowing the details, sounds like a little hanky-panky to me.

Careers are in Que Sera Sera land these days. Who knows what tomorrow brings except the unexpected.

But her attempt to sell the Madisonians that she offered them strong and educated leadership skills was exposed to be weak liberal schtic.

This post is to draw attention to the post-primary fundraising.

The whole world is a conspiracy!!!

The entire fracas is manufactured on a lack of good editing by Manski. Her election run trajectory makes sense to me. She entered anticipating her husband would be accepted at Madison (perhaps she hoped to influence the committee?). It did not work out the way she had hoped, so the family is off to other environs. Happens in the service all the time. Her debts ( unlike Jesse Jackson Jr.'s) were for legitimate campaign expenses. Why shouldn't she raise funds to pay off those debts?

I think the kefluffle most illustrates how detached from the real world the folks in Madison are.

As some would say "get a life".

Jessie Jackson Jr. is planning his post sentencing fund raisers now.

All post-primary donors can be issued IOUs payable when her husband lands one of those high-paying jobs in sociology.

Seems pretty sleazy to fund raise under those circumstances.Duly noted. But on the other hand you're rid the Manskis too.

How oh how are we ever going to achieve Progressive community Utopia when all these Progressives keep thinking of their own interests first??

Surely you mean hansky-pansky? Surely.

KenK has an excellent point. I'd expand it to say that under the newly-revealed circumstances her whole campaign was dishonest and sleazy. But now Madison will be rid of these two twits, and what a blow to his ego not to get admitted to the UW program.

Good riddance.

The best part is how inelectable it will make her in the future, as she's thrown at least one of her supporters on the School Board right off a bridge into oncoming traffic.

Good riddance.
