"The stars are in alignment this morning, baby!"

I'd said it before, and I say it again as I finish the previous post and add: "Planet Waves!"

Then: "Planet Hillary Waves!"

If only I could photoshop as easily as I can write, you could photoshop those 2 images, and then do it again, adding, from that top link:

I like Dylan, but your teeny bopper fetish for him is beginning to make me wonder if I should.

Romantic nostalgia for the good old days of Suze and Bobby strolling down LaGuardia and talking about Bobby's latest folkie broadside against the bigots has you stuck.

I think it's the explanation for why everything that goes on in Chez Althouse is a great civil rights issue. First, it was the idiot feminism. Next, gaydom. Now, it's Meade, the pioneering house husband, defying the cultural norms of the bigots.

Everything that happens in Chez Althouse is a great civil rights issue, big salary and nursemaid employer be damned. And, you have the nerve to suggest that I'm a narcissist!

What's the next great civil rights crusade for Chez Althouse and rich white people?

That re-education camp you work for only gives support to the romantic BS.

You're making me hate Dylan.

Why isn't Hillary's face centered?
It looks like an oversight, but I think they must have been trying to convey some message.

Don't say "in Chez Althouse."

"Chez" means "in the home of."

There was a Mad parody that's stuck with me forever.. if you can keep your head about you, then you just haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation.

You are the oppressor, Althouse.

Planet Waves was released exactly 40 years ago, this week. Underrated album, IMO.

Wondering if you should what? Get a life?

I think it's to make the "planet" look like it's rotating.

Truth hurts, doesn't it, schoolmarm?

It's all about greed for you.

You're a con artist.

I note that you have no substantial answer.

Figures.

I'm following my mother's credo.

I got a Dylan fetish. He's awesome. We should all dig Dylan, the world would be a better place.

ST, what else is new? You hate everyone, well gays and blacks anyway. You are one predictable boring man with delusions of talent and intelligence. Why do you even post here anymore?

I dunno....I think I'm seeing butt cheeks. I'm leaning towards the this-is-what-it-looks-like-when-you-have-your-head-up-your-ass.

Wasn't it Chip Ahoy or a poster with a name something like that who could add animation to your posts? Didn't he also do cool cards?

He could do what you want to do here, I am sure!

Looking at it again, I think the reason is to make the "planet" look three dimensional. The right side is carefully shaded to make the shape spherical. That would be harder to do if the face were in the middle.

Yes, unfortunately, he was one of the commenters who reacted very negatively when I had to shut off the comments for a while last summer. (I had a broken moderation function, and I had no other way to deal with a problem I can't explain fully without giving energy to… the thing I don't want to encourage at all. I got Google to fix the moderation function and turned the comments back on, but some who took it badly remain in exile.)

I agree it is a very underrated album - hadn't realized the 40 th anniversary. Thanks. I love the two versions of Forever Young - "yeah they're both good and we couldn't decide"
