My favorite neighborhood trees are peaking now. Awesome.

I look down the street at all the Ash Trees and ponder what it'll look like in 10 years.

Replace them! I've lived through the replacement of the elms with oaks on Bascom Hill (over the last 30 years). The oaks are pretty big now. And some elms have survived to ease the transition.

Hey, this is from our yesterday's walk, :) we hiked down to the river from the National Cathedral and back up, a good and long hike. My husband (he is a hiker) said that even though I don't hike regularly, I surprise him with how well I do on these long hikes.

The nice thing about Amazon Prime is that you get mail on Sundays and government holidays, at least if you order dvds often enough.

That's not through luck or hardiness. They aggressively treat them. At least they used to.

I know they treat them, but they seem to die in the end.

Don't we all.
