That one cloud to the left looks a little like New Ham Hussein's head.

Good thing it's not centered.

The reason it's framed the way it is is because of where the interesting cloud shapes happened to be.

(I meant to say that a head on the left is not centered. Your composition, here as elsewhere, is exquisite.)

I can see poodles in the far off distance.

I venture that the top pic was taken earlier than the bottom pic and yet the ski seem darker in the top pic.

Interesting illusion.

Both pics depict the same spot in the horizon.. differing only in time (like I said before) and zoom.. I assume.

There is a water tank in both pics.. Two vehicles in the top pic in front of houses/buildings and a high flying jet about to go behind the clouds in the bottom pic.

bringing back the draft

It's a new conservative talking point.

The. Big. Bad. Draft.

You know the Jesus Freak Righties are on the ropes when they have to play that card.

Is that how it works? Please explain. Was Rangel on the ropes in 2006 when he introduced legislation to reinstate the draft?

bringing back the draft

The only politicians that were talking about bringing back the draft were Democrats. That's back when Bush was POTUS.

KCFleming said...

Always an excellent technique, when the Democrats shift the discussion from 10-20% unemployment to a food fight over the culture wars.

Meh.
Because of Democratic polices, my kids have no full time work, can't afford an apartment, lack health insurance, and yet owe some $35K in debt for gubmint spending.

So yeah, let's talk about the draft and gays and stuff. How about abortion? I'll bet their's plenty of life left in that old chestnut.

The Lone Ranger rode into sunsets like that on many a day.

Meade has always thought so.

One guy nobody ever heard of writes a guest column on a web site and it's a talking point.

If that gruel were any thinner, they'd call it water.

PS It might, however, be an excuse for The Zero to start up his compulsory National Civilian Defense Corps.

One of my favoritest of yours so far, Ann ~ very Maxfield Parrish! I love those colors in the skies down here (about 6 miles as the crow flies off the northern Gulf of Mexico). major dad says, "Quick! Get out here before the light changes!" from the patio and I do the hustle.
