At age 1, Laxmi Sargara was married to a 3-year-old named Rakesh. She found out about it when she was 18 and the in-laws came for her.

The operative phrase being "annulled". What was unusual was that this was legally done. How many simply leave or pretend it never happened? I'm sure quite a few.
