A barber tells about about the time Justice Scalia stopped in for a haircut.

At Lovers Lane Barbers, near Southern Methodist University, a couple weeks ago.

"He sat on my chair, and I was trying to think how in the world am I going to cut his hair and what in the world am I going to say to him?... He had quite a bit of hair. Yes, he did. Well, he didn't have that much on top, but he had a lot in the back and the sides... I was honestly just trying to figure out what in the world I was going to do with his hair.... I'd just probably fall over dead here."

Surely an originalist should shave his head and wear a powdered wig?

I don't go to barbers anymore - Mrs. Wilbur is trained to cut hair - but when I did I rarely found barbers fit the stereotype of a garrulous, friendly fellow who would talk your ear off. Most of them were quiet, almost sullen and not at all friendly. I guess they just wanted to get me out of the chair as quickly as possible so they could fill it with someone else.

It has occurred to me that if I was a barber, I would open very early on weekends and work until the early evening. Why? That's when most men are free to go to the barber. I would advertise in church bulletins that my shop is open early on Sunday, so patrons could come in before Mass or preachin' and get a quick haircut. My days off would be during the week, like M-T-W. Alas, I chose a different career path.

I hope he gave him the 5 to 4 haircut. It is better than no haircut at all.

Well Trump's hair doesn't get cut. It's just taken off and put on a headstand each night. Bad rug Donald.

All my life I went for the cheap haircut. My last barber, who was cheap, was kind of an ass. So when he changed locations I didn't bother to find out where his new place was. So I'm looking around for a new barbershop, and I found one that catered to men.

Oh my God.

All the barbers are women, it's ESPN on all the television screens, and they bring me a beer. Plus a hot towel on my face and a massage. It's like double my usual haircut rate, but dude, it's a vacation on my head. If you haven't found a male fantasy barber shop yet, you are missing out.

Scalia is great. Pretty nifty tennis player too at age 80.

Been there, done that barbershop. Classic old fashioned men's with a good shoeshine man there too.

Dunno why you say this. I saw him respond to this. On camera he ran his hand through his hair. If it's a rug it's a good one.

Nichevo, I look at the Astro Turf/Rug/Covering on the Donald's head and I swear a dead raccoon made some contribution to that pile of stuff. Let me see say an eight year old grandkid yank on that "hair" and see if it comes off.

As for accepting any Donald Trump statement as accurate, well I'm reminded of the old Ronald Reagan story about a kid digging frantically in a room filled with horse manure. As the kid said, "With all of this stuff around here, I know there must be a pony somewhere in the pile." Let me simply say that there is a pony somewhere in all the stuff the Donald spews.

If anything it's probably implants. Meanwhile the country is far worse off because a bald man cannot get elected President.

Looks like I'm getting goofed on, seeing as how The Man Who Wasn't There defines me as a man, typical transplant Coloradoan, pasty and poor megafan of Kelly Macdonald*.

*WOW I didn't know she was in (^&^*&%*^$&%#$

Oh and Nino?

Nino knows.

Trump didn't "go bankrupt" 4 times paying Scalia, he went bankrupt paying off the Dinkins and Clinton's in order to survive.

And now they break his, bust his, ya know balls for it??

I was gonna write a story, about a running narrative whereby the lead, as we'll call it, keeps noticing anytime a disagreement arises, be it about art, weather, sports, news, ideas, beauty, cats and dogs living together, and not ONE DAMN MOTHERFUCKINGTHING ELSE FOR FUCKSAKES, "you lie" is the only discourse spoke, after the initial TRIBALING.

Then I realized that ain't no story, that's REALITY!!!

It be superceding my best ideas, time and time again.

I, for 89878677659869867687687568576547476r and then times infinity, if I am able to reproduce someday, be superceding the laughing in the other-than here/now.

Math.

You start with 50 dollars million American.

Compared to how many people in America at *that* time got that/had it.

Now, who where?

How?

Why?

To invite licentious behavior because of wealth:

1) Inherited

2) Earned

3) Spent

4) Displayed

5) Marketed

Fuck, I am sick of math already.

You do it.

So Freudian slip meant something at some time to some people.

What does the Freudian, trajecting-toward-2nd-Thermodynamics-wiselaw the eponymous* mistakes resulting in scientific advancement say?

I was educated at UW, that's what.

History of Science.

It's a thing.

Steyn knows.

I hope the Packers win the next 3 Super Bowls in a row.

You give me $1 million NOW,

Then we wait a year;

Then you get three Super Bowls in 4 years, and I, me by myself personally because that's frankly, just, how strong I am, might work you into getting a Philly Fourth.

But I need that million now.

Then we work out timeframe/expectaction issues.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Philly Fourth is my 4th and 26 yards Donovan McNab against the Green Bay Packers.

I wonder why when I search "4th and 16" this arises?

Because I have risen? Or, more likewise, other folks did shit?

As the Great Iowahawk has noted, to be born American is a lottery winner.

Trump, because of his wealth's origin, doesn't negate any dream of "free market capitalism" Iowahawk naively preached.

Fact is, the founding fathers would respect Trump and piss on comics unable to capitalize.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Let's see Iowahawk break down the wealth of those with shit to say, like he did Krugman's shit to say.

Is it normal to get $50 million from your daddy in the eighties or seventies or whenever and do what, be a billionaire now?

Umm, yes? No, no no no no?

Um?

Yeah Mitt's Governor of Michigan daddy, or Bush's daddy, um, they don't matter because they got their wealth through cronyism, but since Trump cronyism's too that's really, this time, really really bad?

Okay.

Bad bad bad it is.

John McCain's reason for being known would have killed his being known.

I am not extremest on abortion in terms had John McCain been aborted obviously every person everywhere would be better off, and as an utilitarianist hereby-because-of-this-exception I would have to realize exceptions to the greatness, Catholicism, that allows us our supreme idiocy.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Iowahawk had a bunch of assets before the crash of 1987 or 2000 or 2007, whatever, and he not only didn't care, he laughed, Iowahawk did, at you, because he knew how to make money without daddy's help. Not like Trump who depended, and of course depends, on his daddy.

Iowahawk, by UnBillions, he will only support Daddy's with government ties, natch, because funny.

Ha ha.

Guildofcannonballs said...

You get people like me linking your sidebar links, and you're fucked.

Guildofcannonballs said...

The strongest argument Iowahawk has is "But his daddy's rich!"

Keep saying it.

It really makes people thing you are right and he, with is rich daddy and all, well, he just ain't right.

You and your daddy are cool: Trump and his daddy ain't.

Trump's daddy was fucking rich.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Any fucks up in here erasing my Mitt Romney's Daddy was a governor and Jeb Bush's dad was a president (of America) comparison to lil Trump and lil Trump's lil daddies mini-influence?

Fuck's sake.
