Ok, that's a bit odd. Too much green for November in Wisconsin, in my opinion. Do you take that plant in at night?

I told you so.
In the end, it is going to be the money that gets her.

The plant is 6 avocados. It's a big production moving it in and out, so it goes out once, in the spring, and back in once, in the fall. It's heavy and taller than the doorway. We haven't had a frost yet. It's in the 60s today.

Avocados sound wonderful. How many do you harvest in total?

It is so beautiful outside. (looks out window and sighs)

Exactly zero.

Is this the place in a Wisconsin blog for a Chicago North Sider born and raised and true blue lifelong Cubs fan to celebrate the Cubs winning the World Series? Wow, I am happy. What fun. What a great game, and a great series. What a worthy adversary Cleveland was. When the Indians make it to the World Series again, as they surely will, and if they aren't playing the Cubs, I'm rooting for the Tribe.

Man O man, I am just ecstatic today.

Yes, Roughcoat, it was a fantastic series between two worthy teams. Nice to see.

You need another avocado of the opposite sex, seriously, before you get fruit. Th other one can be a mile away.

Donna, do you get the questions in advance?

Political ad near the end of the Rush Limbaugh program today, transcribed exactly:

I'm Michelle Miranda, and I have the privilege of being Gem and Antionette's daughter. On behalf of my brother and I, I want to share with you a little bit about our mom, Antoinette Miranda, candidate for state board of education for Central Ohio.

Our mom has been involved in the education of my brother and I throughout our school years. Her work in the field of education at the building, district and university levels makes her extremely well qualified for this significant office. She is guided by her belief that all children deserve a quality education regardless of zip code. Her voice as a champion of public education has been heard throughout her tenure as a public educator. As her soon to be predecessor, Mike Collins, said, "I can assure you, her passion for making education work for all children makes her the only choice for the state board of education."

Please join my family and I as we safely[?] vote for our mom and wife Antoinette Miranda for state board of education.

I'm Antionette Miranda and I ask for your vote on or before November eighth, paid for by Miranda for education.

It probably should be considered that if the FBI is investigating Clinton Global Iniative, that will involve Bill and Chelsea and everyone else who has or ever had a notable role in that operation; not just herself.
Is Obama going to pardon them all?

Oso Negro said...

One more weekend to go. I am guessing that if there is anything left in the cupboard, it is all going to be out there tomorrow. Has anyone else noted the strange absence of Monica Lewinsky in the fall festivities?

wildswan said...

Obama is going to issue a pardon chain-letter. That way new crimes can also be pardoned which will be necessary - see Anthony Weiner.

I keep trying to figure out what is wrong with global warming?

I'm wearing shorts in November. How "cool" is that?

Wilbur said...

You can be sure our President is thinking hard and seeking advice about who he can pardon and for what. Included in this calculation are the likely repercussions to his legacy. Also - and maybe most importantly - how much the Clintons have on him.

What do you think Bill and Loretta chatted about privately on that airplane? The weather?

I think I finally understand what is happening. When Bill Clinton and Donald Trump met that time, Bill bet his buddy Donny $1 that he could get a blow job from the next president of the United States. Donny took him up on it. But Trump shouldn't worry, even if Hillary wins, Bill might not be able to collect. Doesn't want her that close to his balls, might end up in a jar by the door.

A drive containing data on potentially every official in the Clinton administration was likely stolen from the National Archives and Records Administration in 2009, according to emails deleted by Hillary Clinton but recovered and released Thursday by the State Department.

Yoga classes and wedding plans....

What a fucking bald faced liar!

Deep antipathy to Hillary Clinton exists within the FBI, multiple bureau sources have told the Guardian, spurring a rapid series of leaks damaging to her campaign just days before the election.

Current and former FBI officials, none of whom were willing or cleared to speak on the record, have described a chaotic internal climate that resulted from outrage over director James Comey’s July decision not to recommend an indictment over Clinton’s maintenance of a private email server on which classified information transited.

“The FBI is Trumpland,” said one current agent.

This atmosphere raises major questions about how Comey and the bureau he is slated to run for the next seven years can work with Clinton should she win the White House.

The currently serving FBI agent said Clinton is “the antichrist personified to a large swath of FBI personnel,” and that “the reason why they’re leaking is they’re pro-Trump.”

Umm yeah... It could also be that they know a lot of shit about Hillary and Bill and have formed an opinion based on those facts!

I'm sitting in Phoenix in the middle of a huge rain storm and the TV Fox News has a Hillary ad every five minutes or so.

I'm wondering what her internal polls are saying.

I doubt she can win Arizona but Tim Kaine is here in Phoenix today and the ads are almost as much time as the rest of the programming.

traditionalguy said...

Cafe time, I think, so here are my thoughts while driving for 3 hours this PM and listening to Rush: The Great Obama Snake has it all set up so Hillary wins and then is removed from office. Bingo, Kaine comes in and goes total Globalist.

I remember that Obama agreed to support Hillary, but only if Kaine was her VP pick.

Michael K said...

Three minutes and another Hillary ad. All about Trump. Nothing about her.

It's Women's Equality Day! 96 years after women first won the right to vote, we're still fighting for a seat at the table.

Special thanks to Judge Cynthia Rice For Justice, Cathy Johnson for Ohio, Gov. Ted Strickland, Andrea Nelson Moore for Judge, Antoinette Miranda, Jessica Miranda, Rep. Nickie Antonio, Emilia Sykes, Congressman Tim Ryan and so many supporters who submitted videos with powerful answers to the question, "Why do we need more women at the table?"

Dr. Antoinette Miranda, Ph.D, is the "Associate Professor & Program Director of School Psychology at the Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology." She is highly qualified to suck up and spend more Buckeye tax bucks. Governor Kasich will be pleased.

I think I heard Andrew Napolitano say that the Supreme Court in the Paula Jones case established that a sitting president is immune from criminal proceedings while in office, but not from civil suits.

I don't think "it is Trumpland" in the FBI, but I do think there is war between the straight civil service people and the political employees - and not just in the FBI.

Sketchy Guy Who Works at the Adult Bookstore says:

Thanksgiving is coming, and today I had a man already in the Holiday Spirit. He walked up to the counter and asked if I had a particular sex doll.

"What kind?" I asked. "There's a lot of them. Disembodied latex orifices modeled from porn stars, big black plastic ghetto booties, your old-fashioned blow-up dolls..."

"I want a turkey," he says, making eye contact: eye contact is very unusual in my line of work. Disconcerting, really: I don't want to look in customers' eyes, their sweaty desperation is like a Black Hole trying to draw you in.

"A Turkey? Like Turkish? I think we have an Arab Sex Ass with vibrating butthole."

"No, no. I want a sex doll turkey with a fuckable vagina and asshole."

"That certainly is specific. I don't think I've ever seen one of those before."

"Really? That is disappointing. I can't be the only one who wants to fuck a sex doll turkey with a woman's fuckable vagina and asshole."

"I think you might just have to go with the real thing."

"I've done that before: I got salmonella in my dick. Trust me: you NEVER want to get salmonella in your dick."

"I'm sorry: I don't think I can help you."

"Do you know why I want a sex doll turkey with a fuckable vagina and asshole?"

"I really don't need to know."

"I'll tell you, if you want."

"I don't want. Don't tell me."

"When I was eleven we had family Thanksgiving Dinner at my Uncle's house. He later cornered me in the basement, got me drunk on beer and shoved a turkey drumstick in my ass."

"Okay. I think that is all I need to know."

"After the turkey drumstick he shoved corn-on-the-cob up my eleven-year-old butthole. Luckily THAT was buttered. I don't have any sexual issues with corn, though: I like corn. Funny how that works."

"Like I said: I don't think I can help you."

"Well, thank you for your assistance. I'll see you again. Before Christmas."

"Christmas?"

"Yeah. You want to know what happened to me on Christmas?"

"No, no: no I don't."

"I'll tell you, if you want."

"I REALLY don't want. Don't tell me."

"It involves my Uncle, my ass, and a whole fruitcake..."

I am Laslo.

Any thoughts on Lena Dunham's tweet where she asks her dad how he feels about the extinction of straight white men and they both seem to agree that'd be a great thing, Professor?
As someone who insists Dunham is an artist we should listen to I'd think it would merit a comment.
Seems a little...ugly...to me, but what do I know?

Stick a fork in her -- that ham is dun.

Seriously, you probably don't appreciate LD's inner genius. She's an artist, you see.

The FBI knew this over a week ago- probably 2 weeks ago. Looks like some journalists are finally breaking free of the Clinton Cult, maybe just in time salvage some shred of dignity.

Here in Texas the weather is nearly 90F during the day, and Jack-o-Lanterns turn into vile smelly mushballs in about 72 hours. Ours are composting nicely among the grass clippings in the far corner of the yard now.
