Snow, incorporated.

IMG_3865

Snow citizen and photo by Meade.

The midsection of the snowperson was originally the lower part of the snowwoman I'd made in the front yard. He disassembled my creation and reincorporated it in the backyard. He's copying and improving on some of my ideas, notably my pronouncement that a snowperson should have a neck and a waist.

Zeus looks unfazed.

Not a snowperson of color.

Trump says South Korea to make 'major announcement' on North Korea

Other sources say Kim to come south for direct talks with South Korea.

Is it registered to vote?

"Is it registered to vote?"

Well, no. I really shouldn't call it a snow citizen. Technically, it's on a path to snow citizenship. Call it a snow dreamer.

I prefer the term cryonic American.

I watched an interesting thing happen on the internets today.

Elon Musk responded to a Trump tweet about the new tariffs with a few tweets of his own complaining about China's unfair tariffs and rules regarding auto imports and manufacturing.

Musk's tweets were fully in line with Trump's many comments about fair trade and America's failure in the past to deal with those unfair policies.

And yet the media, Reuters, Business Insider and others, initially treated Musk's tweets as negative toward and critical of Trump.

A few hours later, after their idiocy of their initial knee jerk reaction became obvious, the headlines have changed. Musk is now presented (at least by some outlets) as supporting Trump's "protectionist" policies.

I suppose they're digging around in Musk's trash about now.

The path to snow citizenship is a slippery slope. Beware of ICE.

Meade said...

My snow dreamer loves ICE because ICE shoveled up and deported the MS-13 creeps who, just for kicks, tossed salt on his little sister.

Four faces.

1. At the top is Albert Einstein with a mustache facing he camera.

2. Jutting out to the right of the second is the old man on the New Hampshire mountain whose face recently fell off.

3. Someone screaming in horror is trying to escape from The Thing on the left of the main body.

4. On the center right of the lower body is Robin Williams as Popeye. He needs a pipe.

It helps to blow it up a little.

10 points — Rabel!

I was thinking Howdy Doody on top but you're right — blow it up and of course it's Einstein!

Maybe he wants to come in out of the cold and get medical treatment.

““Kim Jong Un has gained a lot of weight, and this weight gain is believed to have brought many side effects, including heart disease and high blood pressure,” observed Eric Yoon, CEO and founder of Television Korea 24. “Kim often enjoys heavy drinking and smoking. In October 2014, he disappeared from the public and media for two months due to arthritic pain in his leg. But his health is top secret due to possible uprising in North Korea. Instead, he often just won’t appear in public.”

We don't do snow birtherism here at Meadhouse.

Probably gout from his rich diet in his starving country. But communism has never been tried!

Forget about citizen, not even a legal person.

The head looks more like Mark Twain to me.

Maybe it's Kuato

Well, okay then, back to snow incorporation.

The snowman is thinking, Oh my God, my naked bottom is on the ground and here comes a friggin' dog. I'll get hook worms just as sure as the world.

Balancing act. Thanks for noticing.

Clicked and zoomed in, it’s either Mark Twain, or Krusty the Klown.

tim in vermont said...

”Ohhhhh, what a world, what a world."

Wasn’t that Hillary’s concession speech?

Bob Boyd said...

"Balancing act."

That's pretty good.
And you're probably right, at this point an itchy bottom is the least of his worries.

Meade said...

"Dad, you're going to be a grandfather!"
"It's benign and will completely resolve on its own."
and
"Wasn’t that Hillary’s concession speech?"

3 phrases I will never grow tired of hearing.

I was thinking photoshop, but it could be a corset. Smallest snowwaist in three counties.

The photo says it's non-commercial. You could be in legal trouble.

The often repeated and exuberant HRC hatred is childish.

Of course being anti-HRC is the right call. But, puerile, shorts-wearer-ism re this POV is lame. This is odd/Sad!/ironic since the Althouse radar is so carefully focused re supposed con induced DS. But, the DS detectcion system has a ungeheures fail re the ungeziefer at home.

IMHO.

In honor of the Best Actor we are re-watching The Darkest Hour at home this time. We bought it for 14.99 on Amazon Video, and the big screen at home and its sound is much better thatn the Cinema 24 Complex, with all its Trailers from hell.

Amazing performance with all the words clear. I was thinking, Winston did this courageous leadership at the same age as The Professor is now.

I think we will watch it again.

This should be a signal, perhaps, to other less-talented leeches.
Perhaps the bread is buttered on the other side now. Maybe.

Yur pi radians off the mark. But, don't feel bad, you rubes are a dime a dozen. So you have company. There's no publicly disseminated fuss re the folks (unlike Musk) who are good at it.

Duh.

The often repeated and exuberant HRC hatred is childish.

I am not sure about that. I woke up again this morning to the pleasant thought that the witch wasn’t POTUS. Checked the interwebs and it was still true! What is childish is your refusal to accept the evidence that they really, really are a couple of power mad, money grubbing, careless of of others. maybe to the point of sociopath levels, cretins.

If you refuse to look at the evidence, or give it fair consideration, that helps you to feel smart, I guess, since everything makes so much more sense to you if you ignore any contrary evidence. I call it “Beloved’s Razor,” if there are facts that make you uncertain of your conclusions, whisk them away! They couldn’t be true! Everybody believes the Clintons are America loving patriots who always put America’s interests above their own greed and passions, so it must be true!

Hmm, as a single person player and not just one of a bunch leveraging institutions, Musk does real good. His stuff is all him.

Bigger characters would not be on their own, like defense contractors or HMOs, etc. Unless that shit is indeed really deep. Names would be needed, PB&J.

No. It's true. He gets 7500 dollars from the government for every Tesla he makes. Makes. Not sells. There are more incentives from the taxpayer after that. Teslas are a commuter car. He is much better served by electric trucks, busses and taxis.
Instead of batteries he should have taken the tax money and developed a methane or other natural gas fuel cell.
How far can a fully charged Tesla go with the radio and lights on and the AC running?
Not very far.
